About 121 Retreat
Refine. Refresh. Renew.
121 Retreat exists to see ministry staff renewed in their faith, refined in their purpose, and refreshed in their perspective.

Our Story
We believe God was preparing 121 Ministry long before we came up with the idea. For over ten years, we've volunteered in a variety of ministry roles, including teaching Sunday school, hosting college student groups, leading young married groups, and prayer ministry. Throughout our marriage, our prayer has been from Isaiah 6:8- "Here I am. Send me!" In 2020, we began to feel a call to move from Alabama to Colorado. While this move was unexpected, we walked in obedience with full trust that the Lord had gone before us and had something wonderful in store.
Colorado has changed our lives. Immersing ourselves in the outdoors has transformed the way we see God. We regularly experience awe-inspiring beauty, power, and communion with the Spirit by getting out in His creation. 121 Retreat provides us with the opportunity to combine our heart for ministry leadership with our passion for the outdoors by creating space for visitors to encounter God. We believe that, just like in our lives, God is preparing a way for ministry leaders to encounter His presence in a life-changing way and we are honored to help facilitate that.

Statement of Beliefs
The Trinity
We believe in one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each person of the Trinity is fully God, co-equal and co-eternal, sharing in the same divine essence. The Father, the creator of all things, sent the Son, Jesus Christ, who is fully God and fully man, to redeem humanity through His death and resurrection. The Holy Spirit empowers believers to live in accordance with God's will and equips them for service in His Kingdom.

The Bible is the Living Word of God
We affirm that the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is the ultimate guide for faith and practice, revealing God's character, His redemptive plan for humanity, and His call for us to live in obedience to Him. The Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, are relevant for all generations and provide wisdom, comfort, and instruction for every aspect of life.
